casting for merch shoot

Since our project features a song by a woman and is rooted in social issues pertaining to women, it would only make sense to cast a woman as the protagonist of our music video and the placeholder for our hypothetical artist.

for our digipack shoot we had to have a model and did not plan on using the same model as our MV.

me and maryam looked around her friends and my friend arisha agreed to model for us.

the next thing i did was text arisha and ask for her availability to shoot for us on wednesday.

here is me asking arish to model for us and she agreed to it.

however when wednesday came, the least of our expectations happened. arisha fell sick, it was Ramadan and most of us were fasting, she fell sick and canceled. we had only an hour to figure out a new model for our shoot. my cousin(the savior) Kashaf got ready for me last minute, thank god i owe her one, i was stressed and thought we will have to cancle and reschedule to next week.

however my excellent crisis management skills saved up ;) hehehe we were all set for the shoot.

kashaf was perfect for the shoot, she is tall, has the body for the model and heavy brows, fuller lips like features for our model. i was happy she was our model.
