so I covered in my post about what star image does in music, and so it became important for us to understand that we were going to need to flesh out a proper star personality in order for us to make a successful star. we chose Maryams' friend, Huza. huza is someone who fit the role for our music video perfectly, her mysterious artisy personality made it perfect for us to choose her.

Huza has all the conventions to fit for a star personality. (i'm totally not talking about the watermelon earrings she always wears)

now we had to build the image of our star around Huza. we had to show someone who understood the meaning of being bullied, criticized, left behind, someone who's personality revolved around them healing from trauma. and Huza understood the assignment perfectly.

our star inspo were

Billie Eilish. her songs perfectly describe depression, trauma and much more, so des her personality.

zayns' current mysterious state, he is out of the mysterious era with his new album where he talks about how he was bullied and abused growing up.

what we wanted our artist to be about was, to reject the norms of the society and expose all the dark side of Hollywood. someone who has become fearless and is not scared to lose anything as all they had was taken away from them.
