mow we needed to plan our props, lighting location, makeup decor, costume. acting and hairstyle.
we had a zoom meeting with all our team mates and our actor , huza.
huza was very cooperative with us and we were really glad about it. she had no complains and agreed with everything we suggested we were open to her ideas as well.

PROPS
chess board. we decided to use the chess board as an example of ' fallen king' to match the lyrics of the song. chessboard was a perfect match to show how the old king fell.
clothes, a blazer and a plain black button up. we wanted her to wear black throughout the the journey of the past. shoes were also old school shoes and white socks. timeline was to be kept in mind in her outfit.
the makeup, makeup was kept basic wit an eyeliner. we kept the eyeliner prominent because there were many close ups and extreme closeups of her eyes.
hair, open and half tied hair. this was very important when will her hair be open or half tied. open in the white blazer and closed in the button up to match the situation she is in. hair to be closed when she is confident and knows the future. open when she was backstabbed by the article posted. so she can show distress by pushing hair behind her ear.
set
the chessboard in hall, we planed the shot to be over the shoulder to we wanted there 4 stools 2 to be empty and 2 for our actors. we wanted the empty seats to show the dead or fallen people. 2 seats in front of each other with the chessboard in the middle of the table.
the katakh dance stage was suppose to be all black with no background visible because we wanted it to symbolize loneliness .
here are pictures of locations we chose around the school.
me and aeman loved the mirror idea maryam and huza came up with.
4. the colour scheme in editing and lighting we used was very dull and yellowish, most of the scenes were planned to be shot in the golden hour but we also had our huge led light we used in certain angles. our schools walls outside are red those as a background were good options as well. the pool shot we planned was to be shown red edited overall. we wanted to highlight the colour red that symbolizes blood and war.
